Using a pressure sensor within an Ex area?

The task:
Using a pressure sensor within an Ex area.

The WRONG solution:
Two flexible tubes passing from an Ex area, through a wall, into the safe area and connected to a non Ex pressure sensor.

Effect:
Through the flexible tubes you will produce an Ex area at the membrane and electronic components inside the sensor. You should look at the application again and select the correct products for the Ex zones specified.

The CORRECT solution:
At the planning stage a professional Ex solution should be envisaged. 100% safe and reliable by using a passive pressure sensor in the Ex area and an intrinsically safe circuit via a transducer or switching module.
